LUM E-Bike Manufacturer's Warranty

Warranty Coverage:
LUM warrants each new e-bike to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase by the original owner or until the e-bike reaches 700km, whichever occurs first. This warranty is applicable only to the original owner and is non-transferable.

Warranty Claim Process:
In the event of a defect covered by this warranty, the original owner must promptly notify LUM by contacting our customer service department at info@lumebike.com. Proof of purchase and a description of the problem are required to initiate a warranty claim. Upon approval of the claim, LUM will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective part(s) or e-bike.

Warranty Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover damages resulting from normal wear and tear, improper assembly or maintenance, accidents, misuse, neglect, or damage caused by modifications, alterations, or unauthorized repair. Additionally, consumable parts such as tires, brake pads, and batteries are not covered under this warranty. Damage caused by extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to exposure to excessive heat, cold, moisture, or sunlight, is also excluded from coverage.

Battery Warranty:
The battery included with the e-bike is covered by a separate warranty. The battery warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase by the original owner or until the e-bike reaches 700km, whichever occurs first. During the warranty period, LUM will replace a defective battery at no charge. Normal degradation of battery capacity over time is not considered a defect and is not covered under warranty.

Limitation of Liability:
To the extent permitted by law, LUM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the e-bike, even if LUM has been advised of the possibility of such damages. LUM's liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective parts.

Statutory Rights:
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from country to country. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

Voiding of Warranty:
The warranty will be void if the e-bike is used for commercial purposes, rented, leased, or used in any manner not intended by LUM. Additionally, any modifications or alterations made to the e-bike not authorized by LUM will void this warranty.

Transferability:
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner who purchased the e-bike from LUM or an authorized LUM dealer or retailer.
